1 minute walk to Sailors Home pub (excellent beer, OK pub food, good fish n chips, often prickly landlord, but did I mention the excellent Green Jack beer?), 30 seconds walk from Waterfront restaurant (OK restaurant food and drinks), 5 minute walk to excellent fish n chip shop. Decent local Indian, and reasonable Chinese and pizza delivery available through Just Eats.
7 minute drive to Africa Alive! That’s right, this small village has its own zoo! And a very decent one at that. Lions, cheetahs, white rhinos, giraffes etc.

5 minute drive/12 minute cycle to Co-op supermarket.
10 minute drive to large Morrisons supermarket, ‘World of Fish' (excellent fishmonger), Homebase etc. etc.

12 minute drive to East Anglia Transport Museum, with an amazing variety of working historic vehicles (opening times are a bit bonkers so check timings before visiting!)
